There are cities that are not only visited: they are observed, explored and felt. At One Shot Hotels, we believe precisely in that way of travelling, slower, more curious and more connected to the surroundings. That is why we are especially delighted to collaborate once again with PHotoESPAÑA, one of the most important photography and visual arts festivals on the cultural scene.
When is PHotoESPAÑA 2026 taking place?
- The 29th edition of PHotoESPAÑA will take place from 13 May to 13 September 2026.
- During those months, the festival will once again fill different venues with exhibitions and activities that bring photography closer to the public through a contemporary, creative and open perspective.
What is this year’s theme?
- “Reimagining”, a motto that invites us to look at reality with fresh eyes, rediscover the everyday and find inspiration in what surrounds us.
Urban Routes, the collaboration with One Shot Hotels
Through #RecorridosUrbanosPHE26, we encourage people to go out for a walk, observe their surroundings and capture in an image those details, scenes and corners that make urban life unique.
This initiative also reflects the way we understand travel at One Shot Hotels: as a way of discovering the destination from within, through an authentic, curious perspective that is connected to the city.
The call for entries will be open from 14 April to 5 May 2026, and taking part is very simple.
How to take part
- Keep your Instagram profile public during the call for entries.
- Follow @oneshot_hotels and @photoespana_.
- Post a photograph on Instagram including the hashtag #RecorridosUrbanosPHE26.
- Mention both accounts in your post.
What are the prizes?
Up to 10 finalist photographs will be selected, and their authors will:
- Receive a one-night stay in a double room at One Shot Hotels.
- See their works included in a collective exhibition at One Shot Conde Torrejón, in Seville.
- Among them, 4 winning photographs will be chosen, and each one will receive a prize of €500.
